Time Out

Whenever Nathan is in trouble, he has to sit in his Time Out chair until he can stop throwing a fit and do the right thing. Norah has watched this many times, but is too little for us to start disciplining her in this way.
One day, Norah was found sitting in the middle of a pile of dirty shoes. We scolded her by telling her "No" and removed her from the shoes. She whimpered and happily walked herself over to the Time Out chair in the corner of the living room. We let her stay there since she was appropriately disciplining herself, but it was too cute not to take a picture.
